10 differences between the north and the south

1)farm animals in people's yards.
today on my way home from school I noticed that someone had chickens, a goat and some cows all in their yard, maybe its cuz im from NJ but that seemed strange to me.
2) old men in cowboy hats
another thing you don't see much of in NJ. just seeing that today made me giggle i dont know why.
3) The things people say
every place has its own strange things they say, for example in NJ you have "im going down the shore"- translation im going to the beach. or they way people from NJ say water WUTER. However people say such things as "im ganna go make groceries"(food shopping) and "i been knowing him"
4)weather
this is kinda given but still there is a difference there. it is so hot down here and very wet. it sucks i love the cold and here it is January and its like 75.
5)Education
Schools down here suck. i used to complain about when our schools budget wouldnt get approved in NJ but here its pretty bad. We have maybe 100 or 150 books in library. it bothers me.
6)pace
everything is so much slower down here. if people drove the way they do here in the north they would get their ass ran over.
7)friendliness
everyone is friendly here. when i started dating someone here i met his parents and they hugged me. that was very uncomfortable, growing up in the north im not used to people randomly hugging me when i dont know them.
8)NO DINERS
THEY DONT HAVE ANY DINERS HERE WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO EAT AT 1 AM ENOUGH SAID
9)CARS(or should i say trucks)
In the north most people drive suv or a car but like everywhere you look here you see trucks. i dont like them they make me nervous. i would think they would roll easily.
10)Food
the food is so different i could go on and on about it, but i wont. the main differences is in the south there is a lot of sea food in NJ you had a lot of greasy food like pizza and cheesestakes(by the way its not a Philly cheesestake if it doesnt have cheese wiz and mountains of grease dripping from it and oh yeah it has to be from PHILLY)

Things i wonder about..

1) What make a designer handbags,clothes,sun glasses and all that other crap so popualar and so god afual expensive. Today i was shopping at a flee martket(why do they call it a flee market?) and i saw a almost new great condition Louis Vuitton bag. my mouth dropped open when i saw the price tag 25 bucks. The first thing i did was make sure it was real and it was. i couldnt believe that these crazy people were actually selling a real Louis Vuitton bag for only$25 those things sell for like $1000. i wanted to get it but to my horror i only had 5 with me. But this made me think way would someone pay $1000 or more for a damn purse something you put tampons, gum,pens, makeup and all that other crap girls put in their purses. which brings me to my next thought.
2) Who is put in charge to decide what is ganna be the next big thing, the thing fashion addicted monkies with gobble up. sometime i think i would like to have that job, but its probably a very boring and high stress job. but o well
3) Where does little Miss get off calling herself little miss. she isnt little infact she is freakishly tall, she isnt fat or anything about the only thing small on her is her butt. she has an incredibly small flat but. infact you could say that she has a lack of a butt. which is kinda funny to see her wear tight pants because her butt is soooooo flat.
Just somethings that have been running through my mind today

I QUIT!!!

So it has now been 48 hours since my last ciggerette. Two days ago i decided that i need to quit smoking, i have been smoking since i was 13 years old and i am not 18. Last week i finally came clean with my mom and dad about smoking because i got tired of trying to sneek a smoke and i figured now that i was old enough to buy them my parents shouldnt stop me from smoking them right. So like the next day my mom saw me smoking in the morning before school and later that day when i came home she told me that she couldnt see me smoke that if i smoked and she didnt see it, it wouldnt be that bad. But when she saw me with one or smoking then it mad her cry. At first i was kinda mad like "stop trying to make me feel guilty if i wanna smoke then im gann" ya know then after a while i started thinking about how selfish i was being. i guess i never relized that me smoking could effect people. So after thinking about it the rest of the night at work i decided that i need to quit for my mom, because i couldnt do that to her. So now it has been almost three days with out a ciggerette and it sucks major ass. i have horrible headaches and i have the munchies ten times worse then you get them when your high. My mom got me the nicatin patch or whatever its called and it makes me feel so sick. The first night i starting taking it i layed on the couch for like 3 hours because i was scared that if i got up i would barf allover the place and face it no one wants that. Things are a little better today although people at school are still telling me that i am being a major bitch(more than normal). But hopefully things will get better as time goes by and the headaches, dizzieness, muchies and craving go away. This time its ganna work im ganna quit for good(hopefully)
